Planning & Zoning

The Planning & Zoning Commission developes the Zoning Plan and Ordiances with the help of an outside source who specializes in helping muncipalities create and adopt plans that are spefic to muncipalities demograhics. They work to keep the Zoning Plan and Ordinances current. They reviews proposed amendments to zoning ordinances, site plans and plat applications, and they are responsible for developing the Master Plan. They are also responsible for over seeing Building Inspections, Licensing and Permits. 

They meet monthly on the first Monday of the month at 7 pm. at the Village Hall. The Village Hall is located at the corner of Main and Milton, one block off of US 31. The Library is in the same building.
