Planning & Zoning

The Planning & Zoning Commission developes the Zoning Plan and Ordiances with the help of an outside source who specializes in helping muncipalities create and adopt plans that are spefic to muncipalities demograhics. They work to keep the Zoning Plan and Ordinances current. They review proposed amendments to zoning ordinances, site plans and plat applications and they are responsible for developing the Master Plan. They are also responsible for overseeing Building Inspections, Licensing and Permits. 

They meet monthly on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm at the Village Hall located at the corner of Main and Milton, one block off of US 31 (Library is in the same building).
