Parks & Recreation

The Village of Pellston has two parks. Memorial Park is located downtown. This park is home to the Veterans Memorial, The Gazebo and the Old Train Depot which houses our Historical Museum.

Pioneer Park located on Robinson Rd., west of US 31. Pioneer Park is home to ball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, a pavillion, a playground, and nature trails leading to the Maple River.    

Park facilities are available on a first come, first serve basis. To inquire about fees, availabilty or additonal information, please contact the Village of Pellston Parks and Recreation Department at 231-539-8031.

Weight Restrictions

On Monday, April 10, 2023 MDOT will be starting a road project on US-31 in Alanson.  Part of this project includes detouring south bound US-31 traffic onto Milton Road and then re-entering US-31 at Powers Road.

The Village of Pellston will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 7:00 pm, prior to the village council meeting, in the Village Council Chambers, 125 N. Milton, Pellston, MI  49769. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider Ordinance 57 pertaining to regulation of personal swimming pools within the Village limits.
